Of guns and roses

The Maoists had an objection for the government's decision to bring weapons in the country. According to them, the government are breaching the peace agreement and trying to pick a fight (this is what i read on the papers). But why don't they understand that a country always needs the supply of weapons for the police force. Whatever be the situation of the country, even if the country is peaceful, there is no harm in being prepared for the future. Prevention is better than cure. Buying the weapons doesn't necessarily mean trying to pick a fight, it might just be for safety measures. I just want to tell the Maoists, STOP being SUSPICIOUS over anything and EVERYTHING!!!!

Banda!!Banda!!Banda!!

Why do this Banda happens in this country? Everytime when I have to do something important, there's always Banda. I am just fed up with it. And I think most of the people in this country are, too. What's happening to this country? Instead of being better, New Nepal is degrading day by day. Is Banda one and only solution to all the problems? There are various other ways to solve problems, talks and discussions are the best but every time we have a problem, we ed up doing Banda and protest. I wonder if this continues, Nepal (especially KTM) will soon be known as the land of Banda and protest rather than the land of God and Goddess. Nepal is a "zone of PEACE, don't make it zone of VIOLENCE and CRIME".

YOU MIGHT BE THE NEXT!!

Whenever we come out of the house, we fear if something bad would happen with us. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt. We know if something happened to us or the people we know or in the place we come across. There are many road accidents happening everyday but we never know about some of them. I recently had an accident and only few people know about it. It wasn't major, though. An accident is an accident. I heard a person was killed in Chabahil by Swayambhu Yatayat. Its not a new thing because the same bus kills several people manytimes. Its always a news and the area is always disturbed. However, this time the person wasnt killed at once so the bus backed off and killed him, according to what i heard. This make me think if our life is so cheap that you just kill and pay some thousand bucks as compensation and you are free.
there is always a big threat to our life when we get out of our house. So just be CAREFUL while going out because YOU MIGHT BE THE NEXT!!

Carelessness

I wonder how careless people could be. Just a walk around the corner and a list of careless activities. Nevertheless, piles of garbage tops the list but the misuse of electricity continues. I was just coming out of my house when I saw two street lamps glowing in the daylight. I wanted to switch it off but I couldnt find the switch. Even at the houses the lights on the balconies and verendas are left on. Isn't it our fault? But we cant say its entirely their fault because when there's current in the evening they turn the switch on and forget to turn it off at night when there is outage which results in glowing light at odd hours. Even my next door neighbour do the same. They forget to turn off the lights and even their T.V. sets. This is really disturbing and shameful thing. It shows how careless we are. So, lets just start being conscious and SAVE ENERGY!!
